Michelle and Tim’s wedding was a warm family affair with a reception in a 15th Century pub. Their families were all staying in beautiful apartments in central Southampton, rented for the occasion. There were small children at every turn, which was appropriate as Michelle was heavily expectant at the time!
The ceremony was at Southampton Registry Office. I captured this candid moment in the corridor before the ceremony; the couple grinning at each other wildly. Michelle and Tim walked into the room together and a few minutes later they were married. There was a fantastically serious look in their eyes as they exchanged vows.
The reception was at The Duke of Wellington in Southampton, a fantastic 15th Century pub and a conveniently short walk from the registry office! The upper room in the pub was packed with Michelle and Tim’s friends and family. Michelle was understandably feeling tired as the day went on, and rested her head on her new husband’s shoulder. There was something about this peaceful moment that summed the day up for me.
It was a pleasure to spend the day with Michelle, Tim and their families. You can see more photos from their wedding at on my wedding photography site.Pin It
