Spring was slow in unfolding

Cow in a field on Hayling Island

I’ve taken the opportunity of the late spring bank holiday weekend to have a couple of days’ rest and relaxation. It’s been a busy few weeks (and there are even more busy weeks around the corner) so the chance to stop rushing about, read a book, watch some TV and wander in the sun to a tea shop was welcome. The weather finally showed that it hadn’t forgotten how to do spring, and even hinted that there may be a summer. The relative quiet of Hayling Island made two days seem like much longer. In a good way.

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend too. :)
