SATYR

The SATYR section of the project aims to provide the following features:

User Functionality

  • View New, Open, and Closed support requests under their username.
  • View details of their support requests, including the ICT Team Member’s comments.
  • Submit new support requests.
  • Get help on using SATYR.

ICT Support Staff Functionality

  • View New, Open, and Closed support requests assigned to them.
  • Monitor for new support requests (thepage showing unevaluated support requests refreshes every 60 seconds).
  • Evaluate new support requests, and close them at the same time if applicable.
  • Search for support requests by number, status, username, room, machine number, ICT Support Team Member.
  • Submit support requests on behalf of users. These requests can be submitted new, open, or closed.
  • View detailed information on every support request.
  • Get help on using SATYR.

SATYR Administration Functionality

  • Unlock/lock a support request to allow/prevent editing.
  • Delete a support request from the database.
  • View statistics on support requests.
  • Get help on using SATYR.
